Terms & Conditions
- The Promoter is Sustainability Victoria ABN 62 019 854 067, Urban Workshop, Level 28, 50 Lonsdale St, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000.
- Entry is open to all visitors to the Save Energy website who fulfil the entry requirements. Directors, management and staff of Sustainability Victoria, Department of Sustainability and Environment and Department of Primary Industries may not enter.
- The competition commences on Wednesday 17th October 2007 and ends on Sunday 9th December 2007 at 11.59pm (AEST).
- To enter the competition, participants need to:
- Go to the website http://www.saveenergy.vic.gov.au/ and
- Complete the Energy Savings Challenge, providing contact details as requested.
- All visitors to http://www.saveenergy.vic.gov.au/ who complete the challenge and provide all requested contact details prior to Sunday 9th December 2007 at 11.59pm (AEST) will go into the draw.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed or misdirected submissions. A participant is permitted to complete and submit once. The Promoter has the right to remove any entries that appear to be duplicates or multiple entries from the same participant for the same questionnaire. The Save Energy competitions are strictly one entry, per email address, per survey. Subsequent entries will therefore be disregarded.
- The prize draw will be conducted at Midday (AEST) on Thursday 13th December 2007 at Sustainability Victoria of Urban Workshop, Level 28, 50 Lonsdale St, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000. Each entrant will be allocated a unique number. Winning entry numbers will be randomly generated. The entries at the time of draw that are deemed not to have complied with these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid.
- If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value subject to Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
- Schedule of prizes, redeemable items and values is as per the following table.
- All winners will be notified in the Herald Sun on Sunday 16th December 2007. All winners will be published on the http://www.saveenergy.vic.gov.au/ website within seven (7) of the draw. All winners will be notified by email.
- The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to contractors it engages to assist it in conducting the competition or communicating with the entrant. By entering, you agree that the Promoter may use aggregate information collected from the questionnaire for related research and marketing purposes. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants can access the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting the Promoter on (03) 8626-8700 or at saveenergy@sustainability.vic.gov.au. The Promoter's full Privacy Policy is available on request or on the http://www.saveenergy.vic.gov.au/ website.
- The Promoter's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entrants that tick the consent box grant permission for the promoter to email them information about the competition, results and upcoming competitions, prizes and events.
